2018 Maple Cup SBR Tournament

Competition Rule: SBR-Sichuan Bloody Rules, certified by MIL-Mahjong International League
Awards: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place
Registration Fees: $10 for the member of CANADA MAHJONG FEDERATION*,
$ 20 for others
Fees include lunch and light snacks in the late afternoon
(*: The CMF 's membership fee until December 31, 2018 is waived if you apply for CMF's membership by February 28, 2018.)
Registration deadline: First come first reserve until reaching to 60 players or before 6:00pm on Monday February 05, 2018. Registration fees must be paid by February 05, 2018.
Interested players can register or make enquiries by sending an email to Gracie Wang at canmjf@hotmail.com. Payment will be made directly to Maple Quest Association, and details on the payment process will be provided to registrants.
Tournament format: A total of 5 sessions with 10 hands per session. Match-ups for the 1st session will be random and will be according to the ranking from the second game onwards "strong against strong"
Allotted time for each session: 75 minutes. When the allotted time runs out, players still in play are allowed to finish the current hand, but cannot start a new hand.

10:45am-11:00am: break
11:00am-12:15am: 2nd session
12:15pm-12:50pm: lunch
12:50pm-12:55pm: take photo
1:00pm-2:15pm: 3rd session
2:15pm-2:30pm: break
2:30pm-3:45pm: 4th session
3:45pm-4:00pm: break
4:00pm-5:15pm: 5th session
5:15pm-5:30pm: break
5:30pm-5:45pm: award ceremony
5:45pm-6:00pm: clean up, leave
