2019 Maple Quest SBR Mahjong Tournament

Requirement of Participants: Healthy mahjong players
Competition Rule: SBR-Sichuan Bloody Rules, certified by MIL-Mahjong International League
Awards: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place
Registration Fees: $20, include lunch and light snacks in the late afternoon; $10 off for CMF VIP members.
Registration deadline: Before 6:00pm on Wednesday January 23rd, 2019.

Tournament format: A total of 6 sessions with 8 hands per session. Match-ups for the 1st session will be random and will be according to the ranking from the second game onwards "strong against strong". Only top 4 players after 5 sessions are qualified to compete 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. The rest players will start to rank from 5.
Allotted time for each session: 50 minutes. When the allotted time runs out, players still in play are allowed to finish the current hand, but cannot start a new hand.

1:10pm-1:30pm: break
1:30pm-2:20pm: 4th session
2:20pm-2:40pm: break
2:40pm-3:30pm: 5th session
3:30pm-3:50pm: break, snack provided
3:50pm-4:40pm: 6th session
4:40pm-5:10pm: break, snack provided
5:10pm-5:40pm: award ceremony
5:40pm-6:00pm: clean up, leave
